Kooza

I took Brooke and my Mother in-law to see Kooza tonight. It was wonderful! Brooke still had Lucy the Ladybug the class mascot, so she also got to come along. We ate at Cracker Barrel first and then headed to Baltimore for the show. It was truly amazing and Brooke LOVED it. Now she wants to be an acrobat when she grows up- go figure.

New Bathing Suit

Brooke is so proud of her "real" "professional" swimsuit. She has been taking lessons for awhile now and her teacher really wanted her to have a good suit. She also wants her to join a swim team and start competing! I'm gonna wait on the whole competition thing, she's only 5 and I want her to just be a kid this summer. She is doing awesome; she can freestyle, back stroke, and breast stroke! Come on Summer Olympics 2020!
"Lucy" the ladybug is the class mascot and the kids have to take her everywhere and write all about there adventures with her.

Where's Brody?

Brody discovered a new place to hide; in Brooke's stove! He actually took the shelf out and got inside himself. I just had to laugh.

Spa Day

Brooke was invited to a "spa day" for her classmate Kate's birthday. They all went to the spa for Mani / Pedi's! It was really the cutest thing ever. I however just had to stand there and watch in envy. By the way, she's only 5!!! Spa day-are you joking me. I think we are way out of our league with the whole private school thing!

St. Pat's Day

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all my fellow Irishman!!! The Leprechaun visited our house and as usual he left a trail of gold leading to some gifts for the children. Brooke (as she would say) "finally" got a Furreal dog, Brody got books, and they both got some new DVD'S. If your children get upset by this, explain to them that the Leprechaun only comes to your house if your Irish!

Crue Concert

Nikki
Niiki Sixx & Vince Neil
Tommy Lee
Last night Matt & I went to the Motley Crue concert in Baltimore and it was AWESOME!!!!!! I'm a HUGE Crue fan and I have a "borderline" obsession with Nikki Sixx! (well maybe alittle more than borderline). I got great tickets and was all the way up front. That's right FRONT ROW Baby! Hinder and Theory of a Deadman also played. All the bands were great. Can't wait for the next show-Love Ya Nikki!

Ocean City

The 3 Amigos
Yummy Pizza
How can we go from a foot of snow to a 60 & 70 degree weekend??? I LOVE IT!!! Can you say "BEACH"!!!!!! Saturday morning I packed the kids up and headed to the beach. Matt had to work, but I wasn't going to sit home. We actually met up with the Steen's and didn't know each other were heading down. We stopped in Rehoboth and had pizza together, then the next day we took the kids to the park in O.C.. It was an awesome change.

More Snow

Here are some more pics. of our snowy fun! Brooke & Matt were out for about 4 hours!!! Overall we got around 12".

Snow

Cold with no power!!

Well if you haven't heard, we got some snow! The Eastern Shore got pounded. I estimate we got anywhere from 10" on up. Brooke went crazy! She didn't have school on Monday or Tuesday, and today it was a 90 minute delay. Late Sunday night into Monday we lost power for over 12 hours. That's not real fun when you have kids. So we packed the kids up Monday and went over Mae & Pap's for a few hours. I think Brooke is still in shock the snow hasn't melted yet.

Dr. Seuss B-Day

Green Eggs & Ham
Red Cupcakes with Purple Icing
Yesterday was Dr. Seuss' B-Day, so of course we had to celebrate. For dinner I made the kids Green Eggs & Ham, for dessert we had red cupcakes with purple icing, and finally we watched The Cat in the Hat & other favorites before bed. I love Dr. Seuss and I thought it was another good reason to get the kids excited about reading.

Aquarium

Friday Matt & I decided to take the kids to the Baltimore Aquarium. Matt's brother David, his wife Michelle, their niece Sara, and Jason & Shelly went with us. I haven't been for a few years, but Matt hasn't been since 1980!!!!! It was a good time had by all. To top it off it was so gorgeous out that we didn't even need our jackets! Brody LOVED the sharks and kept screaming to the fish to "wake up fish"! Brooke also loved it. Her favorite part was the dolphin show.
