Christmas

Well Santa came with a vengeance! Brooke got her "My Little Pony Carnival" & Brody got his MOTORCYCLE!!! Yes, a REAL one! I have to admit it's pretty awesome. Yesterday we spent the whole day riding it in the back yard. I myself even took a turn. I almost wrecked into the neighbors house, but we won't talk about that. Santa also treated Mommy wonderful- with a 5 day cruise to the Bahamas! I'm still in shock. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

Breakfast with Santa

Brooke's school had breakfast with Santa about two weeks ago. This was a "HUGE" project my Mother in-law & I took on to head. (NEVER AGAIN)! We were in charge of a total of 1000 -1200 crafts!! Everything actually turned out great and i'm very glad it's over. We also had my nephew's that weekend. Afterwards, we headed to Great Wolf!!!

Cookies

Last night I took Matt to Toby's dinner theater in Balto. to see A Christmas Carol. He wasn't real excited at first, but it turned out to be a great show. (Hey, any excuse to get out)! It actually was the first time we both have seen it. Mae & Pap came over to babysit and made cookies with the kids. The kids had a very fun time.

Great Wolf Lodge

This weekend we took the kids and my nephews to Great Wolf Waterpark as part of their Christmas present. It was AWESOME again!!! I absolutely LOVE this place! We did all the slides, etc...; and I even did the Howling Tornado with my nephews. I can't stress how much fun this place is. If you haven't been, it's a MUST! We can't wait to go back in June. Any takers to come with us???

New Tattoo

Yes, I did it!!!!! Yesterday my friend Lou Lou & I went to get new tats. Mine is the hibiscus and hers is the Celtic cross. I have to admit I was a bit nervous, but I did it; and YES it did hurt! I wouldn't recommend getting one on your foot unless, for one you really want it, and for two, you have had natural child birth like myself. I really LOVE it and I'm so glad it's done.

Santa

We went to the Winterfest of Lights when we were down the beach, and guess who we ran into? SANTA!!! Brody actually sat on his lap without a fight and even told him he wanted a motorcycle. WHAT! MOTORCYCLE??? I guess it's in his blood, cause that's the first I heard of a motorcycle. Brooke on the other hand asked for My Little Pony Carnival. Wonderful! A big check on that one.

Thanksgiving

Well we are finally back! The beach was AWESOME! We already have decided to do it again next year. The weather was great up until Sunday, but Saturday was absolutely beautiful! We actually played on the beach for a few hours and tried to get a decent Christmas picture. No real luck there, oh well. A bad day at the beach is always better than a good day at home.

Potty

Yeah!!! Brody went pee pee on the potty last night for the fist time! Matt was getting the kids ready for a bath and Brody said "pee pee" and sat on the potty. Matt took his diaper off and Brody sat down and looked at Brooke. Brooke told him "it's o.k. go pee pee", and he went!!! He always listens to his big sister. Brooke is a huge help with him. If it wasn't for her, he would have never gone. Now, the long road to potty training begins.

Kung Fu

We surprised the kids a few days ago with the Kung Fu Panda movie. Since then, it's been Kung Fu mania at our house. Matt & the kids had Kung Fu Theater night, and tonight we had Kung Fu Panda noodles for dinner. (Don't you know they both ate their entire bowl)! The movie is really cute if you haven't seen it yet; i'm still liking it myself after seeing it 100 times this week.

Cracker Barrel

Big news on the island, we now have a Cracker Barrel! This may not be a big deal to you city folk, but here on the island, people are going nuts. Yesterday morning there was a line at 5:30 am! The place literally has been packed since the second it opened. Were planing on going Thursday night and i'll give everyone a report back.

Fire House

This morning I got the kids ready and decided to head to Baltimore. First we surprised Grandad and my nephews at their Church. After Church we surprised Daddy at work. My nephews asked if they could tag along to the fire house, and of course this included a stop at McDonald's first. So we ate lunch and had a nice time at the fire house. Grandad, my nephews, and especially Daddy were all surprised.
