Potty

Yeah!!! Brody went pee pee on the potty last night for the fist time! Matt was getting the kids ready for a bath and Brody said "pee pee" and sat on the potty. Matt took his diaper off and Brody sat down and looked at Brooke. Brooke told him "it's o.k. go pee pee", and he went!!! He always listens to his big sister. Brooke is a huge help with him. If it wasn't for her, he would have never gone. Now, the long road to potty training begins.

Kung Fu

We surprised the kids a few days ago with the Kung Fu Panda movie. Since then, it's been Kung Fu mania at our house. Matt & the kids had Kung Fu Theater night, and tonight we had Kung Fu Panda noodles for dinner. (Don't you know they both ate their entire bowl)! The movie is really cute if you haven't seen it yet; i'm still liking it myself after seeing it 100 times this week.

Cracker Barrel

Big news on the island, we now have a Cracker Barrel! This may not be a big deal to you city folk, but here on the island, people are going nuts. Yesterday morning there was a line at 5:30 am! The place literally has been packed since the second it opened. Were planing on going Thursday night and i'll give everyone a report back.

Fire House

This morning I got the kids ready and decided to head to Baltimore. First we surprised Grandad and my nephews at their Church. After Church we surprised Daddy at work. My nephews asked if they could tag along to the fire house, and of course this included a stop at McDonald's first. So we ate lunch and had a nice time at the fire house. Grandad, my nephews, and especially Daddy were all surprised.

More Beach

Since Matt & I have decided to got to the beach for Thanksgiving, THAT'S ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT! I'm so excited! Here are some pics. of our last trip a few weeks ago. We went over Aunt Jane's condo with Matt's parents and just hung out and had a nice time. Brooke and Aunt Jane made a homemade apple pie, we played Twister, and ate cheese and crackers for dinner. It was great.

Thanksgiving

Matt & I decided we are headed to the beach for Thanksgiving this year! Brooke & Brody's friends will all be there, and frankly, I just don't feel like dealing with the family. Better yet we already placed our carry out Thanksgiving dinner order from the Shark, our favorite place. So, now I can honestly say HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

The outlets also open at midnight on Thanksgiving. BONUS!

Busy weekend

Saturday my Step Sister Tina had her son Tripp Baptized. Two of my nephews were there, with my two, and I got one decent picture.

Sunday we decided to skip Church and have smores by the fire pit instead. We all said a prayer and said something we were thankful for. I told the kids that counts just as much as Church.

Finally Sunday night we met friends and went to Disney on Ice in Baltimore. It was Brody & Isabelle's first show and they LOVED it!!! It was The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Cars, and Tinkerbell. Brody was so mesmerized at times, that his eyes were watering because he forgot to blink. It was awesome!

Crabs for Halloween

For Matt's B-Day & Halloween we got some crabs. They were the biggest and tastiest of the year! So after Trick or Treat we threw down. I have a great "hook up" through my work; just another great bonus of living on the shore. YUMMY!

Happy B-Day Daddy

We had a busy few days for Halloween. Halloween is Matt's Birthday, we have Trick or Treating, Matt & I were the guest readers at Brooke's Pre-K class, our nephew Matt is back for a visit and we had CRABS!!! Here are the pics. of the cupcakes for Daddy. They had a great time, and they actually did great with the frosting.
