Firemans Convention Beach 09

One tired little man. He actually slept like this for over an hour. He loved the fire trucks, but at this point I think even Brody had had enough!
Of course pics. by the firetrucks.
We ended up going down the beach for fireman convention this year. Unlike Matt, I have NEVER been. I took the kids to the parade on Wednesday when Matt went back to work. I couldn't believe it was 3 hours long! I mean how many different fire trucks can there be???

Beach 09

You've heard of the Dog Whisper, now witness the "Crab Whisper" Brooke O'Neill. Our neighbor showed Brooke how to put a crab to sleep!!
Here are some pics. from the beach. It has been great so far! Many more pics. to come.

Chicken Festival

Yes that's really me holding an animal!!
Brody's favorite part!! He LOVED the pigs. He wanted to hold "Wilbur".
World's largest frying pan
Daddy's hand
Of course Brody loved the tractors
Milking some cows.
Were back!!!! We have been soooooo busy lately. I also was having camera problems AGAIN! I finally broke down and bought a 3rd camera!!! Since Brooke graduated Pre-K, we have been on the road. Ocean City, Great Wolf Lodge, Virginia Beach, etc.. We have only been home about 5 days this past month!!! So starting with our latest adventure, yesterday we went to the Chicken Festival. We all had an awesome time!! Even Matt & I were surprised at how much we enjoyed it.

June 9th-11th we went back to Great Wolf Lodge in Virginia. We love this place and it's our 3rd time there! The second day friends of ours through Kentland, (the Redden's & Sheila Mann, & her kids) met us there. Brooke & Brody loved having friends there to play with. 6 kids total aged between 2 1/2 - 7 1/2. Overall, the kids behaved awesome! I can't wait to go back in December.

Virginia Beach

We went to visit my brother Doug in Virginia Beach after we spent 3 days at Great Wolf Lodge. It was really neat. We stayed right on base with him at Camp Pendleton. He has this cute little old cottage that is 1/2 mile from there private beach and right behind it is a fresh water lake. Helicopters and Jets flew over constantly-the kids LOVED it! It was like having our own private air show. We only stayed one night, but I hope to get back there soon.

Fish Tank

Here's the new attraction in our home- a HUGE fish tank! Brooke has been wanting some sort of pet for so long, I finally told her we could get some fish. Matt actually was on a call at work and found this tank sitting next to a dumpster. Somehow the next day it magically appeared in my living room! The bonus is that a girl from the fire dept. wanted to get rid of all her fish things along with all her fish ( 6 total). So now we have a 3ft. long fish tank, fish, and all the accessories for FREE!!! If only I could keep Brody from going "fishing" in the tank.

Pump It Up

Of course she made a friend.

Today I took the kids to Pump It Up in Elkridge and then to Dainel's for lunch. We had our own "field trip day". They both had a blast, but Brooke went crazy! It was worth the 50 minute drive.
