R.I.P. Goldie. Today was a sad day in Brooke's world. Goldie the goldfish went to heaven. We left her alone in her bowl for the rest of the day just to be sure she had finally past on. We will have her buried tomorrow in the flower garden. We all will miss you Goldie.

My Birthday !
For those losers out there that didn't know, yesterday August 5th was my birthday. Yeah! Matt, the kids, & I went to Outback for dinner and then to the mall. We actually made it through an entire dinner. This was only possible because we ordered everything at once when we ordered our drinks! It's really sad eating out now resembles something short of running a marathon. Never the less we pulled it off. We hit the mall for ice cream and milkshakes afterwards and ended up getting Brody some new shoes. He is now in a 7 1/2 wide! Brooke is now a 9. He is catching up real quick. They really do grow like weeds.
If your curious, I turned the big 28.

Aunt Jane's B-Day
Saturday night we went to Mae & Pap's for dinner for Aunt Jane's B-Day. For those of you who don't know Aunt Jane, she is a very dear friend & she just lost her husband Uncle Ed in February. Uncle Ed was always the life of the party! We all miss him dearly!!! It was bitter sweet seeing her; but always nice seeing her. Mae made her a B-Day cake and the kids starting digging in right away. The best was when Aunt Jane "dug in" herself Uncle Ed style. Here's to another year for all of us!!!

Busy Bodies
After I cleaned up the poop, I decided we all needed to get out this morning. I took the kids to Busy Bodies. Busy Bodies is a gym for little ones. It's nice because they have different times for different ages and all sorts of activities to burn off all their energy. Brooke has been many times but Brody really seemed to finally enjoy it.
Nooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Chuck E Cheese
This afternoon I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese while Matt steam cleaned the carpets (seemed like a fair trade to me). It actually wasn't so bad & it really wasn't that expensive either. Of course they both had a good time and can't wait to go back. Thank God Brooke hasn't realized you can have your Birthday party there yet!

Playset
Well we got it! Here is the play set the "Easter Bunny" promised the kids. Geoffery the Giraffe from Toys R Us finally finished building it. Everything is complete except for the slide & sand box. (Matt's going to get that done tomorrow). We also have to get the mulch, etc... The kids don't mind though, they love it.
